"The Very First Time"

 

The very first time I heard opera,
   I thought,
  Call the paramedics!

The very first time I heard country music, 
   I thought, 
   I'm gonna hogtie that singer! 

The very first time I heard the music of Anton Webern, 
   I thought, 
  This is a joke, right? 

The very first time I listened to news on the heralded BBC,
   I thought,
  What a snore!

The very first time I did a lower back decompression stretch,
   I thought,
  OMG, I'd never make it as a P.O.W!

The very first time I saw my banana loaf-sized bathroom sink,
   I thought
   You've got to be kidding! 

The very first time I drank pea protein & brewer's yeast powder,
   I thought,
  Liquid cement!

The very first time I ate sushi,
   I thought,
  Pretty creepy . . .

 

Funny, because now 
   I love them all . . .
